For Psychiatrists, PSYPACT is growing with Alaska and Iowa passing legislation just within the past few months. For more information on what states are involved and what that means for you, click here.

The Counseling Compact has become operational for Licensed Professional Counselors, Mental Health Counselors, and Professional Clinical Counselors. While much newer than the PSYPACT, more states are adding legislation and working through the process. As of July 30, 2026, 7 states are included but 32 are in the process of operationalizing the compact.
